European Cricket has announced Micro as its official mobility partner for 2025.
Renowned for its electric bubble quadricycle, the Swiss micromobility manufacturer’s ‘Microlino’ will be available during all of the European Cricket Majors Events to transport staff members, commentators and players across event grounds.
The aim of the partnership is to showcase innovative, sustainable mobility solutions to millions of global viewers expected to tune in.
“This partnership will give us unique viewership amongst those who haven’t seen our product before,” Microlino Co-Founder Merlin Ouboter told Zag Daily.
“Cricket is a sport that’s not so common in many European markets, and a lot of this viewership will be non-European. We’re curious to see how the Microlino will be accepted internationally from people across the world following the matches.”
Games are currently ongoing in Malaga, Spain, and tournaments will take place all over Europe during the year.
Merlin said that this partnership aims to showcase both the personal and business use cases of the Microlino.
Last year, Micro unveiled its Microlino Spiaggina summer cabriolet, which aims to be offered as a rental vehicle by hotels in summer destinations across Europe and the US.
The manufacturer also recently debuted its Microlino Lite L6e vehicle which can be ridden by those aged 14+ who have a moped license.
