Eve Air Mobility launched a new fully integrated aftermarket services platform at this year’s MRO Europe in Barcelona.
MRO Europe is an annual conference and exhibition for the aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry bringing together airlines and suppliers across the entire aviation aftermarket supply chain. At this year’s event, urban air mobility and the evolving eVTOL sector took a more prominent stage, with key industry players unveiling new solutions.
“The 26th edition of Aviation Week Network’s MRO Europe was our most successful since its inception with more than 11,000 registered attendees and over 580 solution providers,” said Lydia Janow, Sr. Vice President of Events, Aviation Week Network. “Although a focused MRO event, the commercial industry does like to venture into the eVTOL issues as this session was very well received with standing room only attendance. The events team will continue to provide these topics at future events.”
The conference, which covered a myriad of topics on the MRO aftermarket, also included a panel on, ‘Exploring the UAM Ecosystem’, featuring Luiz Mauad of Eve Air Mobility.
Eve Air Unveils Comprehensive Aftermarket Solution
The new platform is designed to streamline operations for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, marking a significant step forward in urban air mobility (UAM). Eve TechCare is being positioned as a one-stop solution for operators that integrates technical support, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) services, parts and battery management, training, and flight operation tools.
Leveraging Embraer’s aerospace expertise, Eve TechCare aims to enhance aircraft availability and reduce operational costs, ensuring safety and efficiency from the point of delivery onwards. The platform is accessed through a digital interface, offering a comprehensive range of services including a 24/7 customer care center, pilot and mechanic training, and aircraft health monitoring. With this launch, Eve underscores its commitment to not only developing eVTOL aircraft but also supporting their long-term operation.
Eve currently holds letters of intent for 2,900 eVTOLs, with a potential revenue of $14.5 billion.
