Zag Group, the publisher of Zag Daily, has become a member of the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS).
PACTS is a UK registered charity committed to the safe system principles for casualty reduction, and provides the secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Transport Safety.
Zag supports the Vision Zero approach and will offer its expertise and insights to PACTS for relevant briefings, consultations and reports. Zag will also provide a platform for the development and delivery of advocacy campaigns in support of the road safety objectives of PACTS and its membership.
Richard Woods, Zag Group founding partner, underlined this commitment: “Zag has a unique voice in the micromobility community and we strongly support PACTS view that road safety is a shared responsibility.
“We’ll do all we can to encourage a partnership approach across the new mobility industry with a particular focus on rider education, vehicle safety performance as well as infrastructure design and provision.”
