Europe’s largest micromobility operator TIER-Dott has recorded 100 million rides in 2024 across Europe and the Middle East.
This translates into 205 million kilometres of distance travelled – or over 5,000 times around the world.
These rides were completed by 10 million users across more than 400 active cities, after the TIER-Dott merger migrated TIER’s operations in 352 cities onto the Dott platform.
“In 2024, we reached the milestone of 400 million rides in total and merged the two companies, successfully integrating the TIER fleet into the Dott app. This was a great team effort from our employees, in collaboration with cities and our riders,” Henri Moissinac, Co-Founder and CEO of TIER-Dott, told Zag Daily.
“With 100 million rides to their destinations in 2024, our 10 million users are contributing actively to a green mobility revolution in cities by riding our shared e-scooters and e-bikes in more than 400 cities in Europe and the Middle East.”
Over the last year, TIER-Dott secured various new tenders and renewals in cities including Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Tel Aviv.
Last summer, it deployed its largest ever fleet of 15,000 e-bikes to serve the Paris Olympic and Paralympic games in collaboration with vehicle solution provider Segway. This event alone generated one million rides in just six weeks from 500,000 users.
The operator employs 1,900 people today across its 100 operational centres and headquarters in Berlin, Amsterdam, and Paris.
TIER and Dott officially merged in March last year, bringing the total fleet of shared vehicles to 250,000 available in 20 countries.
The merger announcement revealed that the combined single entity would generate a combined revenue of €250 million.
