Europe’s largest micromobility operator Dott has partnered with CycleSaver to cut commuting costs by up to 47% for UK riders.

With a Dott e-bike subscription delivered by the cycle-to-work scheme specialist provider, employees will be able to save on their e-bike commutes through the tax benefits of salary sacrifice.

This would translate into a single 30-minute e-bike journey costing £0.60 for frequent users.

“Since our launch with Lime and other providers including Forest, Beryl, and Santander Cycles, we’ve helped employees save thousands of pounds on commuting costs, making shared e-bikes the most convenient, sustainable and affordable way to travel for city commuters in the UK,” CycleSaver CEO and Founder Dino Bertolis told Zag Daily.

“Partnering with Dott is an exciting step for CycleSaver, as it extends our reach into new cities and enables even more employees to enjoy significant savings on their daily commutes.”

The partnership extends CycleSaver’s presence into Bath, Bristol, Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree and Basildon – bringing its total operating towns and cities to 30.

With the Dott monthly subscription, employees will receive two free 30-minute e-bike trips per day and unlimited unlocks. If a ride exceeds 30 minutes, then the rider will be charged Dott’s standard pay-as-you-go rate for additional minutes.

The cost for employees is from £34.35 per month. Employees submit their application to take part in the scheme and, once their employer has approved it, the subscription cost will be deducted from the employee’s gross salary. It’s a rolling monthly subscription which can be cancelled at any time.

Last summer, the micromobility giant Lime partnered with CycleSaver which allowed employees to save on monthly minute bundles.
