Micromobility operator HumanForest has been named as the UK’s eighth most innovative company within transport technology by BusinessCloud.
Featured on the BusinessCloud Transport Tech 50 for 2021, it was ranked in eighth following a vote from 1,200 BusinessCloud readers.
HumanForest is currently operating an 800-strong e-bike fleet in London and recently announced plans to launch the UK’s first shared e-moped scheme.
The London-based provider will manage a fleet of 100 e-mopeds from January 2022, with plans to increase that number to 200 later in the year.
“We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the UK’s most innovative transport technology companies,” said HumanForest CEO Agustin Guilisasti.
“Our unique ad-led model has established a more affordable and accessible way of moving around London, helping encourage exercise and reduce congestion in the capital.
“Meanwhile, our zero emissions operation means that using HumanForest e-bikes does not come at the expense of the environment. The UK is a global leader in technology innovation and we will continue to drive that in transport, starting with the country’s first ever shared e-moped fleet.”
