Leaders from across transport sector to converge at first New Mobility Forum

Leaders from across micromobility and transport are set to converge on 13 May at the Printworks venue in London to participate in the first New Mobility Forum.  

Major companies and organisations from the sector will be in attendance, including representatives from the Department for Transport, Transport for London, The AA, Arup, Bloomberg, TRL, Citymapper, Halfords, Pure Electric, Voi, Lime, TIER, Neuron, Bird and Beryl.

Organised by the eSkootr Championship (eSC) as part of its inaugural race weekend in London, the Forum is designed to encourage discussion and debate on key issues and innovations across new mobility.

The Forum will feature three panels who will discuss topics on micromobility and transport policy. 

Thomas Ableman, Director of Innovation at Transport for London, will be kicking the day off with a keynote address, followed by the first panel session centering on how owners and operators in the industry can co-exist to form a bright future. 

This will feature Adam Norris, Founder of retailer Pure Electric; Georgia Yexley, General Manager for shared operator TIER; Eleanor Chappell, Head of Micromobility for the UK government’s Department for Transport; and Duncan Robertson, General Manager for shared operator Dott. 

Another panel session will focus on public policy and will feature Edmund King OBE, President of British motoring association The AA; Adam Tranter, Cycling & Walking Commissioner for the West Midlands; Vivian Myrtetus, Head of Partnerships & Policy for shared operator Helbiz; Hal Stevenson, Senior Public Affairs Manager for shared operator Lime; and James Padden, General Manager for shared operator Bird.
