Coverage of the inaugural eSkootr Championship (eSC) will be shown in Australia on Fox News and in 18 Latin American countries on Claro Sports and Marca Claro, the series has revealed.

Claro Sports and Marca Claro will make eSC available to more than 22 million homes across Latin America in countries including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.

“Claro TV is one of the biggest broadcasters in the region and we are incredibly excited to be working with them to take our new sport, and our new sporting heroes, to the Latin American audience,” said Sharon Fuller, Chief Content Officer at eSC.

Latin American fans will be able to get behind the Spanish speaking riders including Colombia’s Maria Paula Arias Medina. She joins eSC from a successful career in motorcycle racing where she competed in the Latinoamericano Feminine and the Italika Women’s International.

Over in Australia, Fox Sports has more than 2.4 million subscribers across the Foxtel Group.

“There has been a lot of interest in the series from Australia and we are thrilled to be working with Fox Sports to bring all the action from our first season to TV screens across the country,” added Fuller.

All three broadcasters will use eSC’s own programme created by Canadian production company Boombox, which includes pre-race build-up, race commentary, highlights and analysis.

eSC also announced agreements today with W Sport (currently Sub-Saharan Africa), ABola (Portugal), MadCo (Spain), WedoTV (Austria, Switzerland and Germany), Charlton (Israel), Network 4 (Hungary), ProTV (Romania) and Best4 Sport (Latvia).

Before the race, eSC is running a high-level leadership New Mobility Forum bringing together the key players in the industry. To register your interest click here.
