Customers are being invited to take the new Carver Electric for a spin at one of four Selfridges stores in the UK during April.
The three-wheeled pure electric scooter will be available for test drives at Selfridges stores in London and Birmingham, as well as its two stores at Exchange Square and the Trafford Centre in Manchester from 4 to 30 April 2022.
Costing less than £1 for every 60 miles travelled makes the Carver an “ideal urban mobility solution,” said the Dutch firm.
At just 98cm wide, the Carver can carve through gaps in traffic, but with more stability than a motorcycle due to its three wheels.
Occupants are protected whatever the weather thanks to a windscreen, roof and doors.
The Carver features a steering wheel, automatic gears and a patented tilting mechanism.
It can go up to 50mph and comes in two models – Carver S+ and Carver R+.
Both variants are available as a two-seater or as a Cargo version, which packs 500 litres of storage space, making it useful for businesses.
The R+ can travel up to 80 miles on a single charge.
Being a fully electric vehicle also means it is exempt from London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charge and can be used in bus lanes in London and elsewhere.
