Micromobility operator Dott will roll out its new shared e-bike scheme later this month across a number of major European cities.
From 12 October, Dott e-bikes will be available for hire in Paris, before launching in Rome, Brussels and London.
The firm hopes to have a fleet of 10,000 e-bikes across Europe by the end of the year.
Dott will offer its new e-bikes alongside e-scooters, with the bikes capable of reaching speeds of up to 25kph.
Meanwhile, Sven Jaspers will join Dott this month as Netherlands General Manager to lead the company’s launch in the country.
Dott has been based in the Netherlands since its establishment in 2019, with Jaspers tasked with working closely with partners and city authorities to implement Dott’s operation.
Most recently Director of Strategy and Product Development at electric vehicle charging provider Vattenfall InCharge, leading teams throughout Europe to establish vehicle charging solutions in cities, workplaces, homes and on the go.
Expansion into the Dutch market follows recent growth into cities including Oslo and Helsinki.
