The London e-scooter trial expanded into the borough of Camden on Monday, with Camden now the tenth borough to take part in the trial.
Camden had been set to join the trial in October, but the start date was brought forward to 27 September.
The London e-scooter trial began in June 2021, with 165,000 journeys having been completed since according to Transport for London.
It is part of wider e-scooter trials across the UK which got underway in the summer of 2020.
E-scooters for the trial are being provided by micromobility operators TIER, Lime and Dott, with Lime alone reporting last week that 100,000 journeys have been completed on its devices since the trials launched.
With the addition of Camden to the trial, there will be a maximum of 3,480 e-scooters available for hire in London.
Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Richmond, Tower Hamlets (including Canary Wharf), City of London, Lambeth, Southwark, and Westminster are already part of the trial, which is set to end in March 2022.
