Ovo Bikes, powered by nextbike, has today announced a new ‘Free Ride Tuesdays’ initiative encouraging users to travel on two wheels for free once a week.
Users will be able to take repeat 20 minute free rides between stations in Glasgow and Cardiff until the autumn.
Ovo’s bikes and e-bikes in Glasgow will also be free for the duration of the UCI Cycling World Championships taking place between 03 – 11 August this year.

Voi is offering new riders an hour’s worth of free rides in two 30 minute slots, while existing riders can get £10 worth of rides for themselves and a friend.
Look out for the ‘door hanger’ adverts appearing on Voi e-scooters where it operates which is in Bristol, Bath, Cambridge, Liverpool, Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, Rushden & Higham Ferrers, Oxford, Portsmouth and Southampton.
Zipp and Zwings, which are owned by Zeus Scooters, is offering a commuter pass from Monday to Thursday for £4.99 that gets two 15-minute rides. Its return ticket pass is £5.99 and gets two 12-minute rides any time of the week.
Their locations are Cheltenham, Gloucester, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Princes Risborough, Yeovil, Taunton, Minehead, Barnstaple.
