Norwegian New Mobility consultancy specialists Beta Mobility has partnered with industry expert Robert Martin to lead a new office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Beta works closely with public and private organisations, startups, and investors to facilitate better coordination in the mobility system, delivering projects that prioritise sustainability, liveability and equality.
Martin – Former Head of Mobility at JAJA Architects – is a leader in the integration of new mobility across the Nordics and has led numerous successful projects in this field.
With a PhD in Urban Mobility and a background in architecture, he has spent time as a visiting researcher at the Yale School of Architecture, and has extensive experience in urbanism as demonstrated in the holistic ‘Cities made for living’ report, which set out Voi’s vision to reduce car dependency.

For public entities and regulatory bodies, Beta helps write regulation and mobility strategies that are a better fit for new mobility and startups. For investors, Beta helps scout opportunities in the Nordics, maintaining a database with over 550 mobility startups.
