Chinese-American micromobility manufacturer Segway-Ninebot has announced four new KickScooter Series for Europe this spring, adding to the company’s 10 million units production milestone.
The firm launched the new Max G2, F2, E2 and C2 families to cater to different segments of the market with attention to ever-changing safety rules for e-scooters.
According to Segway-Ninebot’s President for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Dennis Hardholt, the company is adapting to keep ahead of the regulations.
“This year, 95% of the adult kick scooters we bring to Europe will have integrated indicators,” said Hardholt. “We are taking the steps needed to bring regulation initiatives to our consumers and giving them the choices they deserve.”
The company’s new Max G2 aims to offer the best driving experience with a rear-wheel drive motor, large tubeless self-sealing tires and a range of up to 70 kilometers on a single charge.
A longer range is possible due to the company’s newly developed technology RideyLong. It coordinates the high-performance brushless motor and new long-range formula tires with an optimised controller algorithm.
Front hydraulic and rear double spring suspension were added to provide more comfort to the rider. Among its security features, the company included indicators, the Traction Control System (TCS) and Apple Find My device integration.
“The Max G2 is the perfect addition to our KickScooter family and for sure is set to turn heads. We are convinced the Max G2 will be the best commuting KickScooter money can buy below 1000 euros”, said Hardholt.
F2, E2 and C2 series
Segway-Ninebot’s second generation of the F series includes the models F2, F2 Plus and F2 Pro. They include large tubeless self-sealing tires, wider handlebars for better stability and integrated indicators.
F2 family also combines rear-wheel drive and a dual braking system, as well as the Apple Find My feature. The F2 Pro also offers a front suspension for more comfort.
“This combination of a more powerful engine and higher battery capacity reaches the perfect balance for the more demanding commuter”, said Hardholt.
The most affordable E2 family includes two models, E2 and E2 Plus, and brings a newly enlarged dashboard, hollow tires and dual braking system
C2 and C2 Pro were designed for kids, with the latter including a feature to adjust the handle bar to the child’s growth.
