TIER is focusing on full company profitability as the micromobility operator appoints Markus Windisch and Trecilla Lobo as Chief Business Officer and Chief People Officer, respectively.

Markus Windisch has spent the last four years leading HelloFresh’s operations across the company’s 16 global markets as international COO. Windisch oversaw revenue growth from €300m in 2015 to more than €7 billion expected for this year. In this time, HelloFresh went from a Private Pre-IPO company to a DAX40 business.

At TIER, Windisch will be responsible for driving demand and increasing operational efficiency to boost profitability across all markets.

He said: “I hope to bring my experience from a hyper-growth yet very profitable company to support TIER’s path to profitability, increase the company’s market share and drive micromobility as a convenient sustainable transport mode across cities and the suburbs.”

Trecilla Lobo has nearly 25 years experience in HR and has worked with global firms like Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft and Deliveroo, and with high growth VC/PE backed international tech companies such as SwiftKey and Dext. Lobo’s most recent role was at AI-enabled drug discovery company, BenevolentAI, transitioning them to IPO in April 2022.

In her new role, Lobo will be driving the people culture and experience, and implementing a more effective organisation design to support TIER’s commercial goals. She will also lead the agenda for diversity and inclusion.

Lobo said: “During these challenging economic times, championing and prioritising a strong and inclusive people culture is important and I am really looking forward to supporting TIER Mobility and its people through the next phase of its journey.”

Through creating an inclusive culture, Trecilla will be supporting company creativity and innovation, helping to drive productivity and growth. Likewise, Markus’ status as an excellent commercial operator, with an outstanding track record of delivering operational efficiency will be vital in achieving our goal.”
