Zag Daily has been named Micromobility Industries media partner for its flagship European summit in Amsterdam on June 8-9 2023.

The focus of the two-day conference is to explore key issues redefining urban mobility, from the energy crisis, scooter profitability and post-covid street space, to the e-bike boom, last-mile delivery and 15-minute cities.

Zag readers interested in attending can secure a special 50% discount on tickets by using our discount link.

150 speakers and counting have already signed up and include an opening keynote from Micromobility Industries CEO James Gross; a presentation from Horace Dediu, coiner of the term ‘micromobility’; and an update on the micromobility market from Kersten Heineke, Co-Leader at McKinsey Center for Future Mobility (MCFM).

At the end of Day 2 join MI for the ‘Ride of a Lifetime’ – a group ride from Kromhouthal to Noorderlicht Cafe to bring together the global community of micromobility leaders with the local community of Amsterdam riders.

Who is it for

Connect with industry-defining founders, journalists, investors, reviewers, technologists, and policymakers from 500+ cities.

The stages

There will be three distinct stages – a Ride, City & Policy and Startup Stage.

With micromobility vehicle sales now outpacing electric car sales, the Ride Stage seeks to showcase the explosion of owned micromobility. One of the major themes here will be what Micromobility Industries is calling ‘The Road to Retail’ as micromobility companies look to broaden distribution and build a true omnichannel presence for both sales and services.

The City & Policy Stage is based around the tagline ‘show me the incentives and I’ll show you the outcome’. Electric cars are still getting the lion’s share of incentives, so this Stage asks how this can be shifted?

Over on the Startup Stage, the team will focus on the amazing invention and entrepreneurship around the world, while also diving into VC fundraising and retail strategies. Themes will include both a Pitch and Launch Contest.
