Zag Daily is partnering with CoMotion Miami on May 10-11 2023.

This year’s theme focuses on the emerging consensus in cities about the direction future mobility and transportation will take – it must be sustainable, safe, connected and inclusive.

Who is it for

Global mayors, leading technologists, public transport operators, venture capitalists, start-ups and established players.

Regent, a pioneer in electric seaglider manufacturing and one of CoMotion’s Impact Partners, told Zag Daily: “CoMotion is a unique opportunity to engage with the visionaries, builders, and decision makers working together to accelerate a sustainable mobility future. We introduced seagliders at Miami last year and are excited to be back to continue building partnerships with the innovative leaders here.”

What to expect

Meet key public and private innovators who are partnering to shape the future of mobility.

Radical shifts in how we think about mobility and a massive influx in public funding for infrastructure and innovation have the potential to transform transportation of people and goods. How can mobility stakeholders work together to ensure that new models for movement prioritise safety, sustainability, inclusivity, and connectivity?

The two day event will contain inspirational talks, demos and workshops.

“As communities look to enhance mobility, connectivity and productivity through the use of innovation and technology, it is critical that the transportation industry collaborates on the best ways to make this a reality,” Beth Kigel, HNTB’s Vice President of Intelligent Transportation and Emerging Mobility Solutions, another of CoMotion’s Impact Partners, told Zag. “Events like CoMotion provide a forum to advance these important discussions.”

Kigel will be leading an insightful discussion titled ‘Launching into the Future of Ports’ looking at the import and export of goods and their environmental impact.
